Bryson and Kellen are so sweet, they both made her a card and found a present and wrapped it for her.

Bryson gave her a card game and Kellen gave her a $1 since she turned 1!!

My mom always makes the little girls a barbie cake for their first birthdays!

Oh the things that a 1 year old GIRL brings!!

Screaming...loud, high pitched screaming

Her way of telling us what she wants is mmaaaa maaaa and pointing towards it.

Little tornado, where ever she goes theres a mess behind her

DRAMA---emotions...that little boys don't express.

We sure love our little Dollie!

His cool Blue Cast!!

At about 7 pm Thursday night....

I was leaning over the counter helping Bryson with his homework

with Kellen sitting on the counter watching Bryson

when some how he slipped off the counter going head first...

it was in total slow motion.

He went to catch himself with his left arm.

He immediatly grabbed it yelling," my arm, my arm"

When I convinced him to let go and show me I was shocked...

it was goose necked. Kellen says, "Mooomm...what is wrong with my arm?"

I was freaking out trying not to freak out...Tyler was out in his

garage so I yelled at Bryson to "Go get Dad".

I called 911 it rang twice...I hung up; then dialed the doctors office

They said to bring him in they will be waiting...911 calls me back.

I told them "my son broke his arm; I am taking him into the doctors office" and hung up.

(Kellen is still lying on the concrete floor poor kid, I didn't know what to do with him)

Tyler comes in, I run the other kids to my mom's.

I come back in to Tyler putting on Kellen's socks

and wrapping him in a blanket very carefully and calmly.

The whole way to the doctors office Kellen keeps crying and asking,

"am I going to have to get surgery?"

"I need to bend my arm; I need to but I can't"

~Talk about breaking your heart~

He broke both bones; they weren't seperated just bent really good.

After some convincing...Doctor Nichols gave Kellen a few shots to numb his arm

then him and Tyler straightened his arm back.

He wore a soft cast for 3 days until the swelling went down then

Monday April 26th he got his full arm hard cast!!

He wears that one for 3 weeks then gets a half cast for 3 more weeks.

He was so brave!! The interesting thing is he had just watched the Joseph Smith

video-when he was young and had his leg cut on- the night before.

Having a cast on your arm sure puts a damper on

playing T-ball; swimming; riding bikes; dirt bikes;

bathing; getting dressed; using the bathroom...

many other things I get reminded of on a daily basis.

BUT he is doing really good and is such a sweet boy!!

We constantly remind him only 6 weeks and you will be back to normal!!!

Kellen's Kindergarten class learned about chickens.

They hatched eggs in their class room

and his teacher let the kids take a bantum chick home.

I want: chaps, a cowboy belt and a real cowboy rope!

Only Grandparents can do this...

Uncle Ray heard Griffin wanted to ride a horse for his birthday so he saddled up some horses, took them to his round pin and let all the kids ride!! Griffin LOVED it...he is a real cowboy!

Uncle Ray showed the boys how to rope a calf too!!

Perfect for being outside; riding horses!!

Easter Egg hunt...

inside since we are so fortunate to have hurricane wind in Snowflake!

The Anderson tradition is to have regular eggs filled with coins.

The Silver Egg with $5

The Golden Egg with $10

Everyone is really hunting for the silver and gold egg;

but they are hardest to find...

At the Mills' we colored eggs

and then went out to the canyon for lunch & an egg hunt!

Pinewood Derby

Bryson's 1st Pinewood Derby!

He got 2nd in show and almost placed in speed with 4th place!

LAS VEGAS

March 24-28th, 2010

--We did a ton of fun things...

CBR

We went to the Championship Bull Riding two nights,

the 2nd night all 3 boys were dressed alike in their cowboy attire and

caught the attention of a bullrider (Friday Wright).

His Dad brought Tyler some money and said, "Those are the best

looking cowboys here; make sure they leave here with a cowboy hat".

After they got their hats we took them to get signatures

from all the bull riders and bull fighters!

Riah has noticed we make a face at the camera

everytime it is around...this is her version!

--Our hotel had a bowling alley

a full blown kids arcade

(just like peter piper-tickets and all...a parents worst nightmare:)

Shark Reef Aquarium @ Mandalay Bay

They don't look to pleased do they?...oh but they were.

It was awesome...we saw tons of different fish, several different sharks,

jelly fish, sting rays, pirahnas...etc...

There is a "sunk ship" you go into where everything is swimming around you...

very neat!
