Lake Powell @ Lone Rock Beach
July 23rd-27th

Tara bought us all matching bandanas, so we had to get a picture...aren't we cute!
(Sister in-laws from left to right:Traci (8 months prego), Sherry and Tara) then Brooke and I!

Mia enjoyed some licorice...and no, this time I didn't give it to her..it was her mother:)
Bryson found a friend to bring home...a minnow

What is the lake without some serious Tubing?

We even talked Grandma Mills into getting on the tubes!! We never laughed so hard in our lives hanging on for dear life as Russell tried to flip us off.

The guys got into it...Tyler, Russell and McKay are on a 2 man tube with Marcus on the other one by himself so he could do a "barrell roll" while he flies around the corner...the blury picture with the tube on its side is what I caught of him rolling the tube all the way around while hanging on.

We all had rug burns from the tubes and I felt like I got hit by a truck afterwards...BUT we would do it all over again!!
Tara and Layton Mills
My sister Brooke(check out that rocking bod!) and Mia
Bryson
Sherry and McKay Mills--kicking back, honestly...who holds hands while they sleep? Traci (8 months prego) and Marcus Butler...what a great husband, giving a massage.

Cliff Jumping Off Lone Rock

Tyler, Jordan, Russell, McKay, Marcus and the only brave girl..Brooke(I wasn't there to take a picture of her) all jumped off.

Grandma Mills entertaining the kids, as usual, playing ring around the rosie!

Tara Mills, Taylor, Jacque and Griffin

On our way to Lake Powell our only flat was 27 miles out of Snowflake in Holbrook, we were going 10 miles an hour and the tire exploded. I guess if we were going to have a flat, thats the way we would prefer it to happen!

Happy 5th Birthday Kellen!

Kellen's birthday usually lands on the 24th Celebration weekend. This year it was on Sunday, so we had a party on saturday afternoon with family and friends at Grandma and Papa Mills' house. We ate cake and icecream and the kids played on the trampoline and in the sandbox. Thanks again to Grandma and Papa for letting us use their house for our parties until we get into a bigger house.

Then Sunday, his real birthday, we went to Grammie and Papa Anderson's for another party!! Thanks to everyone for coming and for the gifts, Happy Birthday Kellen!! We love You

Garrett Flake, Kellen and Kelton Flake at the Rodeo
THEN the good ol' Parade!!

The 24th of July, Pioneer Days Celebration means...RODEO

Little did Tyler know he was a participant in the Snowflake rodeo. Friday Uncle Jim told Tyler he entered himself, Tyler and Brad into the Wild Cow Milking and Tyler and Brad in the Keg Race. FYI...Tyler is not a full blown cowboy like everyone else in the rodeo. He has helped on the ranch many times and yes...we own a horse but he has never done any of these events in his life. BUT I have to say he did pretty darn good in the keg race, and they got 2nd in the Wild Cow Milking!
July 11th, Bryson finally lost his 1st tooth!
At 7 years old, it had been loose for awhile and I finally talked him into pulling it out...all by himself. He was so proud.
