I guess Bryson is feeling strong and now is constantly giving his brothers shoulder rides.

Brooke and Jordan's little girl, Mia, was fussing a little bit so I grabbed a cupcake and let her lick the frosting...just to distract her and once she tasted it she would scream when I took it away. So I called to Brooke to come watch. So Brooke took over, Mia would grab Brookes hand and force the cupcake to her face, it was hilarious...she is only 9 months...sugar lover already.

We went to a matinee and watched Kung Fu Panda, (which the kids loved) ate pizza, then headed home for a slip n'slide party with friends at Grandma & Papa Mills'.
Why is it that kids get so overwhelmed at their own parties and always break down crying at some point? Maybe thats just my kids though?? Once he got over "their going to break the slip n' slide" and started opening the presents it was all good!
The party consisted of games provided by Grammie Anderson and Grandma Mills which were, tug o war, and london bridge is falling down(do you want icecream or cake?)...thanks to them the kids had some fun entertainment:)

Tyler's 30th birthday will be one he will remember for more than one reason...it turned out to be one of the longest/worst days at work he has had in a long time. The jobs we had scheduled ended up being the biggest pain and took way longer than he had planned. The plan was for everyone to come over at 7pm for his party then go to his softball game at 8pm. Well...as you can see by the clock, that didn't happen, he got home a little before 9pm. BUT we surprised him with his 1st chainsaw. So I think that cheered him up a little.
Happy 30th Birthday Tyler!! We love you.
Thoughtful boys...
I can't even count how many "pretty", "tinsy" rocks and 'flowers' I get from our sweet boys. We always have a collection in the kitchen window. (Not to mention our yard is landscaped with --rocks, so just imagine how many I get!!)
Ouch!
Tyler was replacing a windshield on a big peterbilt semi truck and after he cut out the glass he was scraping the old urethane (glue) off the frame and didn't realize he missed a piece of glass until it sliced his arm open. He knew it was a deep cut so he dropped everything, wrapped it tight with paper towels and drove to the doctors office. He called and told me and we hurried to the work site to sit with his tools so they wouldn't get stolen. Come to find out the doctor said he sliced all the way through the vein.7 years in auto glass and this has never happened...I guess it is bound to happen at some point when your working with glass:)

Saturday, June 7th, 2008While I was in my bathroom getting ready for the day Griffin got in a cleaning mood. He somehow got ahold of the Pam and proceeded with 'keening' (spraying) EVERYTHING...refrigerator, coffee table, chairs, kitchen floor, toys, pillow before I found him. I knew Pam worked good for cooking but I soon learned how greasy it really is. Tyler got home just in time to help me clean up the greasy mess and soon I realized Griffin disappeared again. I start calling his name and I hear him say,"I keening". I go into my bathroom and he had dipped a wash cloth in the toilet and was "keening" again. I couldn't help but just laugh.
Bryson decided to protect his toys by covering them with paper towels and taping them to the table. Life is never dull with kids.
Please get your shoes on and get in the car...
We needed to run some errands so I asked all 3 boys, "please get your shoes on and go get in the car". They all did as they were asked...even our 2 year old Griffin!!
Pillow fight or life size potatoes?
Bryson and Kellen were having a pillow fight and this is what it turned into, it was pretty dang funny to watch.

When it comes to camping in the Anderson Family there is no excuse good enough not to go, bad weather?-won't stop us.
Bryson figured out a way to fish...with a grocery bag, it kept him entertained but unfortunatly he never caught a fish.
Jordan even figured out how they could watch the UFC fight while we were camping...heaven forbid missing one of those. So, yes Tyler is sitting in a camping chair watching UFC in the middle of nowhere. I don't think we know what "roughing it" is.

Bryson had been bugging Cardston Mills about riding in his dad's airplane for the longest time. David & Maegan heard of this and made his day by inviting him for a ride. First Bryson went with Cardston, I think his favorite part was wearing the headphones and talking to eachother, calling out what they believed was "flight language". Then I was talked into going with Kellen, I was so scared but did my best at hiding it and climbed in. It was so neat looking over Snowflake and Taylor from the air. Thanks David & Maegan
