We had a early Christmas present...puppies!
December 23rd, 2008
-----
It hasn't been an enjoyable present though, our dog Tommy had 5 puppies and then after several hours of nothing happening we knew there had to be more because Tommy wasn't acting normal so the next morning Tyler decided to take her to the vet. After a nice vet bill we find out there were 3 more puppies stuck. Tyler gave her medicine to help, finally they all were born, but none survived.
Through the next five days we slowly lost 4 puppies one at a time, we figured they must have caught colds, they would be going strong then over night get weak and die.
We have one survivor, she is a wirey little thing and has been the strongest the whole time. We bottle feed her every 3-4 hours (yes, even through the night...thats Tylers job:)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
***
We started Christmas Eve with a gift exchange and white elephant at the Mills; we did a homemade craft exchange for the adult girls and there was such cute stuff to fight over there was no way you could go wrong.
Then we headed to the Anderson's side, we had a white elephant there followed by the nativity. The boys were so excited to spend the night they didn't fall asleep until 11pm so we decided to sleep as long as they would. Well by 7:30am we decided that was long enough for Christmas morning and we had to wake them up.
Then later Christmas Day we went back to the Mills and the kids got to open their gift from Grandma and Papa!
We got tons of year supply and canning things from both sides that we greatly appreciate. Thanks to everyone!

Our traditional puppet nativity...Tyler was Mary!

Grammie Anderson had the Grandkids singing to the adults...as you can see it was more like yelling the song.

Building the ginger bread house for Santa!

WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!!
YYYYY
We had an ultrasound Tuesday, December 16th
and we are so excited!
If you want a pretty good laugh...
play HIDE-N-SEEK with your kids.
--December 13th, 2008--
Ours consisted of:
*hiding in the same place almost everytime
*making so much noise when they are hiding they leave no question where they are
*hiding under a table but in plain view as soon as you open your eyes
*when it was my turn to hide they would all follow me to the same place

*making it impossible to be found. i.e.: It was mine and Griffins turn to hide, I hide under the office desk. Griffin comes in, shuts off the light, and locks the door then crawls under the desk telling me to "shuush, don't talk".
*After I count I usually say,"ready or not hear I come". I would hear, "K!"
*After a couple of turns when it was my turn to count I didn't say, "ready or not hear I come" and so hiding behind a door I hear Griffin say,"ready or not hear I come!"

The innocence of children...

Monster energy drinks, AC/DC, and junk food...
spa treatment, shopping, movies, late nights, relaxing, great food
VEGAS BABY!
December 4th- 7th, 2008
We saw Chuck Liddell and Charles Barkley at the Rodeo! Tylers 2 favs.
I didn't have my camera the first night when Chuck was there...dang it.
On our way to Las Vegas we went through the Hover Dam and they are in progress of building a bridge. The part the goes out on a diagonal in each picture hangs over the canyon and will eventually connect to each other in an arch and the road will go on top. I was amazed watching them work on this. There were ladders on top of the arches with guys working. I wouldn't want that job.

Tyler and I were able to go to the NFR 3 nights in a row! We had decent seats 2 nights and then 7th row behind the bull pen the last night we were there! It was a lot of fun to watch the action up close where you could even smell the bulls! Yum

Cody Hancocks first ride!

After already leaving later than hoping and taking an unplanned 1 hour detour on top, thanks to monster energy drinks, blaring AC/DC (with a little air guitar and drums), and junk food Tyler and I made it home safely!
-----------
Thanks Mom and Dad & Aunt Berk(Brooke) for taking our boys!
They must have made it too fun for them; the first thing Griffin says this morning was,"No mom I go back to Grammies".

-Town Lighting-
Dear Santa,

Griffin: "I want a buttie buttie wis a gate".
(interpretation: I want a truck with a 4-wheeler/motorcycle on a trailer with a gate)

Kellen: "I want a mini frige for my room" (Thanks uncle Eric for the inspiration!) "Oh wait, no. I want a paintball gun. Oh, ok...I want a plasma car." I think Santa might be confused at this point

Bryson: "I want a paint ball gun"
(This is the 3rd time this has changed too so we are holding out for as long as possible for those letters to Santa because we are sure it will change again, good luck Santa)

Getting a little coaching from Uncle Jim while they wait in line to see Santa!

"I am Eric on a mission"
After I got Griffin dressed for church last week he kept saying, "I am Eric on a mission"!
Kellen has a vest and tie that goes with this so he was saying he was Joseph Smith
or when he was 3 he called Joseph Smith, "Bosa Neef".

Thanksgiving
We spent thanksgiving in Mesa with some of the Mills side.
I experienced my first "black friday" Yippee
Me, Tammy, Brooke and Traci all headed out shopping at 5 am.
We took Brooke's car but Tammy drove and within the first 10 seconds she almost crashed, you know how funny everything is when you are tired? Well we were all laughing histerically.
The deals weren't as good as we had hoped for but we had fun!

Who would have thought kids would be swimming outside at the end of November?
When they got out of the jacuzzi they would be steaming.
CANNON BALL...
They spent most of the time in the jacuzzi but got a kick out of screaming and jumping in the cold pool then back into the jacuzzi.

Griffin sat on the 1st step of the jacuzzi the whole time...smart boy:)

Who would have guessed me marrying into the Mills family would create
2-Jacqueline Christine Mills'
Yes, exactly the same name. The only difference is when she shortens her first name she spells it Jacquie instead of like mine; Jacque. Too Funny

Griffin loved this puppy and she was so nice to let him follow her around
Michael and Becky Mills were so nice to host Thanksgiving;
this is one of the fabulous hosts; Becky; and her daughter Jacquie

In Griffins words, "All aboard the choo choo train"

The lovely Grandma Nonie :)

Thoroughly enjoying a football game!
