School has started, ...with Bryson getting quite a bus ride...

The 1st day of school was a success!! Then came the second day and Bryson wanted to
ride the bus home. School gets out at 2:20pm and the bus drops the kids off at around 3-3:15pm, so I was watching out the window for him walking down the street..
.here comes the all the neighbor kids...but no Bryson. "Oh he is probably distracted by something on the side of the road and is coming". Its 3:20pm, still no Bryson so I go next door and asked the neighbor kids if they saw Bryson on the bus and to my horror they say,"NO". Come to find out the bus that the neighbors ride is
bus #25 not #28 so I run home and call the school, they tell me to
call the bus barn. They radio his bus and
he is on the bus but
they are stuck in construction headed towards Smith Moulding. The bus driver got my address and said she will bring him home on her way back in town. As I continue to watch the clock soon came
4:15pm and still no Bryson. So again I call the bus barn, they come to the conclusion to have me meet them at the bus barn to pick up Bryson, since that would end up being quicker. We wait at the bus barn for 10-15 minutes and finally
here comes the bus...4:30pm. Bryson was on the bus for over 2 hours. I was expecting Bryson to be mad and exhausted but when he gets off he just says
,"that dumb instruction (contruction) made it take forever." The bus driver had explained the whole situation to him so he wasn't worried one bit. He was a little hestitant to ride the bus after that, but who can blame him.

oh man poor Bryson that is so sad but man I would have been FREAKING OUT!!! I'm so glad everything worked out well!
Poor kid. That is a long day at school. I would have been a wreck, I was this same thing happened to Tally and they couldn't find where she was for like twenty mins, or thats how long it took for them to let me know and I was ticked off.
Kynna started school this year and wanted to ride the bus and that was my greatest fear!!! Glad he got home safe!
Oh my gosh! I would have been a wreck! This is an awesome story--you need to sell it to a parenting magazine. (Think that is spelled wrong! So glad you and Brooke are back blogging! I have missed you two.
That could have been the end of him down here in the Valley. Jayden rides the bus for only 10mins and when he gets home his whole face is red.(no AC) I glad he is okay, he is a brave little kid.
