BRUTAL HONESTY-
February 18, 2009

Bryson: "Mom you need to loose weight and lift weights".

Me: (flexing my arm) "I don't need to lift weights, I am tough."

Bryson: "Your not though, your arms are fat."

If I wasn't over 7 months pregnant he would be in his room with no dinner; but I know its true so I just had to laugh. Big jerk

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
rOrOr
A day full of:
candy,
candy,
stomach ache,
a little bit of real food,
candy,
and candy.
A typical day at the Mills house...

Bryson: "I told my teacher I wouldn't be at school tomorrow, so I can't go or she will think I was fibbing." 12/1/2008
Even if the weather has been nice he says "I hope it snows tonight so I don't have to go to school."
Bryson tries desperatly on a daily basis to find a "good" reason not to have to go to school...its grand, and he is only in 1st grade.

Kellen: "Mom can someone come over today...PLEASE?" "Do you need to go to Show Low today?" "Can I go to work with Dad?"
Kellen is a busy boy and loves to be on the run; "our house is SOOO boring"

Griffin:
He loves music, wether its his Primary CD, classic childrens songs or AC/DC,'Back in Black' ("buckin' bull song") its gotta be LOUD. So while he is jammin out Bryson and Kellen are yelling, "turn it down". So, Its usually so peaceful and quiet around here.

Here is just some of Griffin's 'lingo':
"fesent lobos fesent"--Defense Lobos Defense
"wenever?"--Remember?
"buttie"--4-wheeler
"shake-a-boda" my exercise shoes
"roafs"--Dogs
"stupid baby"--anytime he is mad at anyone
"ooh"--You
"myselth"--myself
"its gonna be great!"--anytime he is excited about something
"readero"--Rodeo (but he just recently mastered saying this right and is so proud he says it all the time with his eyebrows raised)
"green cheese"--string cheese
"pink milk"-- Strawberry quik
"do you want to see me dance?" "Papa tells me, 'your good at dat'"
Griffin LOVES rodeos and says him and Tyler are going to ride a buckin' bull in the rodeo; and then asks me "do you wanna watch us?"
"Dad, lets wrestle!"--but he can never get enough so it usually ends in crying/begging for more. You gotta love it!!
"It came out!!"
--
After several months of trial & error Griffin finally just decided he was ready.
One morning I was going through all of his clothes and he had just got out of the bath so I put his variety of underwear that were previous bribberies on the floor and told him to choose one. He did and a few minutes later he says,"I need to go pee". Having heard this many times from him and nothing happening I went and put him on the toilet and went back to sorting his clothes. All the sudden I hear something dripping into the toilet so I run back into the bathroom and his eyes are huge and he says."it came out!"

Our little comedian is potty trained...knock on wood!
We had a early Christmas present...puppies!
December 23rd, 2008
-----
It hasn't been an enjoyable present though, our dog Tommy had 5 puppies and then after several hours of nothing happening we knew there had to be more because Tommy wasn't acting normal so the next morning Tyler decided to take her to the vet. After a nice vet bill we find out there were 3 more puppies stuck. Tyler gave her medicine to help, finally they all were born, but none survived.
Through the next five days we slowly lost 4 puppies one at a time, we figured they must have caught colds, they would be going strong then over night get weak and die.
We have one survivor, she is a wirey little thing and has been the strongest the whole time. We bottle feed her every 3-4 hours (yes, even through the night...thats Tylers job:)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
***
We started Christmas Eve with a gift exchange and white elephant at the Mills; we did a homemade craft exchange for the adult girls and there was such cute stuff to fight over there was no way you could go wrong.
Then we headed to the Anderson's side, we had a white elephant there followed by the nativity. The boys were so excited to spend the night they didn't fall asleep until 11pm so we decided to sleep as long as they would. Well by 7:30am we decided that was long enough for Christmas morning and we had to wake them up.
Then later Christmas Day we went back to the Mills and the kids got to open their gift from Grandma and Papa!
We got tons of year supply and canning things from both sides that we greatly appreciate. Thanks to everyone!

Our traditional puppet nativity...Tyler was Mary!

Grammie Anderson had the Grandkids singing to the adults...as you can see it was more like yelling the song.
