This picture was taken July 6th, 2008, a year before you died. We were all in your backyard for the 4th of July weekend; you were watering your flowers.
Things are just not the same without you and Grandpa around, but we know you are so happy to be together again.
We love you and are proud to be your posterity.

What kid enjoys sharing his birthday with a funeral? i am sure none that I know of...but he was such a good sport (once we got there).I am sure once Kellen gets old enough to understand he will be glad he was able to share this special day with Grandma Flake.
Garrett spent the night and then Kellen opened his gifts right when he woke up before the funeral.
After the funeral Tyler took the boys to the creek to play, then came back home for pizza and a party. Thank goodness for cousins, they made his birthday!!

OF COURSE: Bryson wanted to go fishing

on his birthday, so Tyler, and the boys headed

to Show Low lake nice and early.

His cousin Brigden was able to come too!

Tyler had a glass tinting seminar in San Diego

for a week so we all decided to tag along.

(I took more pics I was just smart and deleted them off my camera before downloading them)

On evening after Tyler's class we went to Mission Beach

and let the boys ride a few rides.

OLDEN DAYS / WERE NOT KIDS ANYMORE

I have been doing some 'spring cleaning' and was going through my hope chest that I had while growing up; Kellen came in and was asking if the reason I had books in there was because in the olden days they didn't have book shelves?

It just hit me: my kids think I am old; being 27 years old...I lived in the olden days.

AND after Tyler filled the tub with water and told the boys to get in we were informed that, 'Bryson and Kellen don't take baths they take showers; they are not kids anymore.'
